Collaborative Group Objective

I am looking to assemble a group of people for the purpose of developing a web-based application that would enable Epoc headset users to upload their encripted  EEG data to a web based application that would convert that data into standardized, repeatable and usable brain maps that at the user's selection could be uploaded to a comparative database using Picasa's face recognition software to categorize the colored brain images. These categories could include ADHD, stress, head injury from sports such as boxing and football or images depicting an ideal meditative or "in the zone state" etc.

Hopefully we would also  develop some neural feedback programs or games that could be adjusted to the information acquired in the EEG mapping and  to ones specific needs or desires. The effectiveness of these games could be monitored by the changes in the brain maps.

Ideally this application would only need the data from a consumer headset running a to be developed Brain Mapping program to be uploaded to the website and the server's computer could translate that into brain wave data and brain maps and e-mail the maps back to the client.  If this was done with Google Web toolbox in AJAX it should allow use of the Epoc headset with the new smart phones such as the Android or iPhone.

If you have an interest in participating in developing this and have a background in web-based applications, Google's Web Toolbox, Java, EEGLAB, MATLAB, statistics, mathematical graphing,
signal acquisition, neurology, neurotherapy, reference eeg databases, artificial intelligence,  3-D game development or any other relevant skills needed to bring this to fruition please contact Tom Martin at Tom@discoverit.com or (720) 257-9642

All of the following images are screen captures from the EEG Lab program running on 64-bit Windows 7 with their sample data

headEEGLAB compiled version for windows OS 32-bit. This version does not require Matlab. If you have access to Matlab though, we recommend the version above. More
information about the compiled version of EEGLAB is available here.

Can Picasa's face recognition software be used to correlate different types of the EEG brain maps and that data could be refined with artificial intelligence. I find their Web interface a most useful way to distribute and share photographs

Some people may just want their brain map as an avataror possibly for social networking with people that have similar brain maps.
